Interesting niche product. Maybe targeted at people who use a hydration pack and then need a bottle for mixing stuff in camp?
I always use a 1 liter Nalgene bottle and never saw a need for it to collapse. That bottle was $7 about a decade ago and is just fine. When in need of more water than the bottle holds, I fill my MSR bag or the Nalgene canteen.
