Horsetail Falls in Yosemite has become a must-see for many people. A friend went up Saturday, Feb 20, specifically to see it at sunset. He couldn't believe the crowds! Apparently so many people go to see now, that the park turns one lane of the two-lane road in and out of the park into a parking section. My friend said he had never seen anything like it in Yosemite.

So I guess the advice should be: don't go during the Horsetail viewing week.
And his result: Even though it was a sparkling day, clouds must have obstructed the sunset, so there was no glow on the falls that evening.
