I would think you could ski down to Lower Boy Scout Lk on the North Fork. It's at 9,500'. Below that, you will need to see as you go up.

There were some kamikaze daredevils from Utah posting a few weeks ago on Instagram of their exploits skiing some narrow chutes, and they showed one from the Windows on Whitney. But that is just an accident waiting to happen.

Depending on the conditions from the top of the Notch, AND on your skill level, you might be able to ski down from there.

If I were you, I'd call Elevation in Lone Pine -- I think they talk with climbers often.
