Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Need day permit for Tues 8/22, Wed. 8/23, or Thurs, 8/24

Kevin, I looked into the unused day use permits for August over the last three years. There is not a single weekday in August when there wasn't a Day Use permit left over (still available).

Just show up the day before (At the Visitor Center in Lone Pine) -- after 2 PM (and before 4:30, I think), and ask for the permit.
