As I’ve posted many times before, it’s really stupid to (have to) pack your gear, maybe take a day off from work, drive several hundred miles, and then stand in line for a permit that may not be available.
Many times I have asked for a walkin for Keasrage Pass and was told, the quota, both reservable and walkins were filled.
We seem to be on the same page.
