Hey, I got a permit to climb Mount Whitney on September the 2nd, and if anyone in the Bay area wants to join me to climb to Mount Whitney, and has or is planning to get a permit for that day that would be excellent. We leave the bay area at September 1 and camp in Mount Whitney to acclimatize. The pass I have is a one day pass so we will be waking up at 2am in order to complete the climb.
