Way to go Gary! Glad you had such a great time. It doubles the pleasure for you knowing your family had as much fun (and maybe more!) than you did. Bri could have a summer job in a couple of years.

As for seeing the notch from the top: you really can't see it. All you see is the steep chute. Once you down-climb the chute, the notch appears in the wall to the right, once you get down to it. And the chute is even tough to identify from the top, since there are several that descend from that northwest edge. The northern-most one has the steepest beginning at the top, but it is the one most people climb up.
