I doubt any "road" bike can make it up the maintenance road to Baldy Notch.
Nah -- they can make it easily... in the back of a truck.
I agree that no one in this race is going to be riding up to the Notch or taking a side trip to the Baldy summit. But this will be a great stage and it would be fun to figure out a way to be there for it. It'll be a zoo for sure!
