The Lone Pine Film History Museum has just posted an announcement:

Quote:
Performing Friday February Eleventh on the Lone Pine Museum of Film History stage will be Coale Johnson and Bob Bruen, collectively known as Walking Rain. Coale and Bob have played together for over 30 years and have played many types of music in that time. Currently Walking Rain plays a blend of country, folk, blues and jazz that keeps the listener's ears alive and engaged with the music.

They are proud to announce the addition of Rose Masters on vocals and percussion. Rose was born and bred in Independence, Ca. She has a beautiful presence and voice. We are thinking of changing the name of the band to "Two Cranky Old Guys and a Little Lady" but somehow we can't get Rose to approve the change. Also performing is Lone Pine's favorite, Victor Silvas on guitar. Victor has a standing invitation to play with us anytime we perform in Inyo County and we are glad he can fit this event into his schedule.

Tickets $15 - All proceeds benefit the Lone Pine Museum of Film History.

The museum hosts our Mt. Whitney webcam, so please stop by and visit. It has some really interesting memorabilia from all the movies produced around Lone Pine over the years.
