Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion Hang Gliding video

Here's a video taken from a hang glider flight. I believe this flight started at Walts Point, on the Horseshoe Meadows road.

You can see some glimpses of Mt Whitney right around 2:00 into the video. The Owens Lake area comes into view whenever he heads south.

It's interesting - thanks, Steve - but must confess I got a bit bored after a few minutes...

I was curious to see how they land, so if you futz around a bit, and pull up segment 4, he taped the landing.

Wonder if the paraglider pilot, Doug Prather, is any relation to Mike?

I want to see more.
