what an amazing trip!
we camped at lower Boy Scout day 1 and met our group of 4 the next day. Headed to upper Boy Scout to set up Base Camp and Head to the summit the fowlling day. The main Chute still had a lot of snow at the base but was loose rock towards the Notch.
The last 300 ft was an awsome climb.. We did decide to use a few ropes on the way Down!!!

All 6 of us made the Summit for a trip we will never forget.

Nice set of pictures, Tommy.

What's the story on the FJ Cruiser battery?

batteries only have one story - they work, then they die.

Thanks for the pictures Tommy. I'm surprised there was more snow at the lower elevations than in the chute near the summit. It's awesome that all you guys made it to the summit...makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone. Wish I had more PTO!

LMHO!!!!
Reminds me of Andrew Martin's line (played by Robin Williams) in "Bicentennial Man" ("Sir" is Mr. Martin, his "owner" -- Andrew Martin is an android); Sir is educating Andrew on the various facts of life, including reproduction:

Quote:
Andrew Martin: Sir, of all these millions of sperm, only one makes it?

Sir: That's true.

Andrew Martin: What happens to the others?

Sir: Well, they die.

Andrew Martin: They die?? [pause] One feels badly for them.

If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them more than the miracle of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it.
