Did a solo full moon meteor shower(full moon killed shower) overnite on summit from MR on Friday and then down main trail Saturday morning. This was my first overnite on summit and first loop, met Bob R and Jay above cables and Betsy and Jack at the portal store after my hike...

Not to bore you with all the pictures,#45 starts at iceberg lake.

Your pictures are never a bore (nobody's are, for that matter)

Thank you for sharing your first overnight with us; the pictures bring back great memories of my overnight, last year.

It was fun to wake up in the night and peer up through my bivvy screen at the features in the sky (in our case, Jupiter was historically close, so it was a fire in the sky)

A truly magical way to experience the mountain.

The body betrays and the weather conspires, hopefully, not on the same day.

And to meet up with Bob R and Jack & Betsy, definitely not a bore! Nice way to do your first overnight!!
