Edit: When I first posted this image link, I forgot it was an updating picture. The original image was nothing but drab gray, and thus my *sigh* comment.

Now that the storm has more or less cleared, the mountains look really pretty.

sometimes good things come out of bad things. A week ago I got stuck at work with a problem we still haven't resolved. Postponed my fall JMT hike. A few days later I get sick. phew, lucky I am not on the highway. Now winter starts a day after my original start date. Guess that would have all been one big waste of time and gas.

I'll be back some other time.

And where did that short two month span without snow go?

I gotta get crampons......
