(1) Yes - technically, Marietta - about 18 miles northwest of Atlanta. Smyrna (and Glock HQ) is very close to both home and work. I'm a native Atlantan, a rare breed in this conglomeration of six million people from mostly elsewhere.
(2) Yes - Hooters corporate HQ and training facility is 400 yards from my hotel, and we be tight. Nice account for me. I won't bore you with the details of how I always get a special VIP partner invite to the annual Hooters Calendar model selection party - my wife could tell you, though. She has LOTS to say about that each year. Hey, business is business, sweetheart . . .
(3) Yes - I've been a General Manager with Marriott for 25 years. Quarter Century Club, with free lodging benefits for life, baby!
What I DON'T have is any decent mountains nearby, or even accessible by car. Always have to hop a plane for that. You folks hangin' by the Sierra - I envy all of you.
And on the subject of Hooters, the brand is being seriously challenged - check out the Tilted Kilt (
http://www.tiltedkilt.com/). You guys have one in B-field, I think. Two new ones have opened in my little corner of the ATL in the past few months. The food is excellent, the beer selection great, and the rest - well, just check it out.
