Depart Santa Barbara at 9 am

Asleep at portal at 6:30 pm

Up at 11:30 and on the trail by 12:30 am

Summit at 10 am (microspikes essential: thanks to Elevation and Doug)

Depart portal 5:30 pm

Arrive SB at 10:30 pm

Nice trip and pics. There something inexplicable that I really like about this pic (below) -- perhaps the cameo hikers set against the numerous cirrus clouds and dark blue sky. I doubt the darkened hikers were intentional, but the effect is nonetheless very interesting.
