I was just wondering about the hundreds if not thousands of tents used by the occupy people. I have always wondered if they were personal tents or tents provided by Soros and other corporations for the occupy people.Who paid for all those tents? The tent industry must be in a boom cycle. With all the tent cities being demolished will that mean more tents will be required? Where are they going to come from? I know crazy thinking but dang there have been a lot of tents used and most have been destroyed.

I don't know, but I can see that you have done some intense thinking.

Rod, I could not find a tent quote to fit the Occupy situation, but this is reasonably close enough

Never camp below the French. They will shit on you from a great height.

I don't know about elsewhere... but here in Sunny San Diego most of the "Occupy" tents are the portable homes of our local transient (so personally owned).

The vast majority of the couple hundred people participating in the "Occupy" movement here are homeless or transient, with a couple of people to put a pretty face on it for the news and general public viewing....

They're sueing for their right to return to the area they were previously ousted from... I believe, for the time being, they've shifted over to Balboa Park. However, as our nighttime temps have started dipping very close to, if not below, freezing.... I'm pretty sure that the local shelters will be the next "Occupied" place.

A note about their tents---- some of them are nicer then anything I own...
