Just wondering as I was perusing a lot of posts, hoping not to ask this question. Since I couldn't find an answer, thought I would ask.

Is the road closed to the Portal?

According to the non-Zoner board (and looking at the photos of Bob R) the answer appears to be No - it's functionally open. The county has its road closed sign up, but from all reports, the road's in good shape to the Portal.
