My daughter's 7 year old nephew (her husband's sister's son) fell out of a second story window and died last night. We are all in shock. Everyone especially the immediate family is devastated. Really tough day to get through. Hard to understand the "why" of this kind of tragedy. I know there is no answer to as to why. Appreciate any and all prayers for the family.
Thanks,
Rod

Prayers and thoughts are coming your way, Rod, and especially to the parents. Losing a child to such a shocking accident has got to tear everyone apart.

So so sorry.

It really doesn't get any worse then that for a family, can't even have a place to put such emotion when something just happens, no words can really help so I wont try.

Hopefully she is in a better place.

Rod, I am so sorry to hear that! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during such a terrible time. The death of a child is the most difficult thing in the world to understand. I'm going to go hug my daughter right now.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven
I'll find my way, through night and day
Cause I know I just can't stay
Here in heaven

Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knee
Time can break your heart
Have you begging please
Begging please

(instrumental)

Beyond the door
There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven
Will it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong, and carry on
Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Cause I know I don't belong
Here in heaven

Thanks everyone. The support is really appreciated.
wagga that song has been playing in my head. As you well know Eric Clapton's son fell from a window also and that is why he wrote that song.
It has been very tough on the family and his siblings, 3 sisters including a twin sister. Dylan's 7 year old twin sister was sitting on the bed and watched it happen. She keeps crying saying that she doesn't want him in heaven that she wants him back with her. It is breaking everyone's heart to see the kids not being able to understand.
Thanks again for the support.
