Well, yes, we're flying to Denver on the 27th. So...we'll watch out for St. Nicholas' return flight; he seemed a little nervous during his check flight.
Love that approach plate. Approach on 360T, as if there were an alternate. I suppose the holding pattern is something like "at 4.0 NM turn left to 270T, maintain course and altitude . . . indefinitely"
Bob in case you haven't already checked, here is the Denver weather forecast for 27th-2nd Jan. I had to check since I am going to the Denver Bronco vs Kansas City game on Sunday.

This has been updated since I looked yesterday as the game day temp was supposed to be 45 for a high and now it's 38.
Thanks for the weather update. Looks like Denver's weather will be a little better than the Eastern Sierra this week. We might have a snowy drive to Reno on the 26th, but better weather for the flight on the 27th.
Unfortunately, we won't make it to the game, but have fun. Go Broncos! (So sorry, 49'ers)
P.S. A friend of mine, from Sri Lanka, had been living in Iowa for several years, when his brother and family immigrated to the U.S. from Sri Lanka. After landing at Chicago (in January), my friend's brother remarked, "What a strange country. From what we could see from the airplane, it seemed to be covered in white sand!" My friend said, "That was snow." "What is snow?" Asked his brother. To which my friend said, "You'll see when we get to the parking lot..."
No shooting fuel tanks, and no snow (yet), but I flew to MI Xmas Eve. Unfortunately the first leg was delayed, causing us to miss the second. So took two more flights, with a stop in Houston to get to ORD. Only got there 8 hours later than planned.
Our 8-year-old had a meltdown because she was sure Santa wouldn't leave anything if she didn't get here in time. :D
