After a week of heat, the melt is going full bore; however, there is still a lot of ice and snow about.

The trail above two-mile marker will still be bit of a pucker for the snowphobic. If you are going up there, stay in the canyon bottom (its a lot easier, too), the trail will eventually put you there, there's been nothing cut between ~2.7 to to beyond the 3 mile marker.

The slopes of Timber Mountain are really starting to melt out, the ridge to the summit is about 40% dirt. However, if your plan is to go to Bighorn, Ontario Cucamonga Peaks...there is still a bunch of snow except at ridge tops.
