Does anyone use collapsible or foldable bottles? I've been using the Hydrapak Stash for the last month, at home, work, the gym and on the trail. So far I have been impressed.

For those that do use this type of bottle, do you ever mix electrolyte replacement drinks in them?

Haven't tried this but I've used something similar that folds flat. It's a bowl instead of a bottle that I use for backpacking trip. My first concern would be durability but your review seems to address that and it doesn't appear too heavy. Only thing stopping me from buying one now is the price. :-) MSR bladders have worked well for me as well as the old Gatorade bottles you've mentioned.

What do you think a good price is for something like this, assuming you can get a year of everyday use out of it?

It'd have to be half the price of what it is now, and I would need to get more than a year's worth of life out of it. I don't see any reason to spend the money when my MSR bladder or used bottles of Gatorade can suit my needs. It's a cool invention, but limited use for me.

Thanks for the input. I will pass it along!

Interesting niche product. Maybe targeted at people who use a hydration pack and then need a bottle for mixing stuff in camp?

I always use a 1 liter Nalgene bottle and never saw a need for it to collapse. That bottle was $7 about a decade ago and is just fine. When in need of more water than the bottle holds, I fill my MSR bag or the Nalgene canteen.
