I got into the lottery for an overnight permit to hike Mt Whitney on June 11 (Thurs), exiting on June 12. However, all my potential interested hiking friends bowed out. So, I like to see if anyone is interested in doing an overnight hike with me around those dates. I have attempted the hike on a single day in late May, 2014 and made it up to the crest (13,000 ft). I like to try it again and break it up into two days. I live in N. Ca (San Francisco bay area), an experienced hiker / a novice camper and plan to drive to Lone Pine area for the hike. The permit is for up to a group of 4. If interested, please let me know. Otherwise, I will let the permit return to the unclaimed pool or maybe show up on those days to recruit hikers. Thank you.
