Does anyone have a day hike permit to hike up the Vivian Creek trail to San Gorgonio Mountain tomorrow, September 19th? I have been calling the ranger station every day for over a week and all permits have been issued with no cancellations. There are only 3 walk-in permits and I would have to get there early to have a good shot at getting one, like 7 AM.
I am planning to do a 2-night overnight hike on the main Mt. Whitney trail next weekend (September 26-28). I want to hike the Vivian Creek trail to train for Whitney.
I am looking for fellow hikers to go with tomorrow. I do not have anyone to hike with me tomorrow. Please let me know if you have a day hike permit for the Vivian Creek trail for tomorrow (or even this Sunday, September 20th) and are okay with me joining your group. I'd greatly appreciate it.
