Since the end of August, I've been using these socks on all of my hikes. I’ve also worn them 3+ days per week, wearing them to work, the gym and around the house over the last 3 months.

One thing that really sets these socks apart from the competition is their warranty:

"If you were able to wear out a pair of Darn Tough socks, we’ll replace them. At any time. Just package the socks up, fill out the form, and send to the appropriate address—we will send you a brand new pair!"

Here is my detailed review:

best socks I have ever owned. In fact, the first pair I ever bought is still very usable, no holes, warm, tough, comfortable. Worth every dollar you pay for these socks.

I've used my first pair on two long Sierra hikes in 2013 and 2014, as well as ski socks on at least 50 days on the slopes, and then as winter cycling socks for the last three winters, easily 5 days a week for about 4-5 months of the year, casual sock use as well.

Didn't know about the warranty, but as it stands, I won't be able to get a free pair to replace my original socks for quite some time to come.

Yup, their warranty is great. In posting my review on social media, people have told me they've done things like get their socks too close to a campfire, or left them out and had their dogs chew holes in them. DT has replaced them regardless.

I could not agree any more. These are hands down the best socks I've ever worn. I was leery paying the high price for them, but after my first pair I bought two more. I now have a couple of pairs for cold, a couple for warm. I was unaware of the warranty until now, but that makes me want to buy a couple more pairs knowing that it's the last purchase I'll ever need to make for my socks. So darned comfortable, they don't slide down my legs, thick enough to protect, thin enough to breathe. I highly recommend.
