Embarking on an HST-JMT link-up. Leaving Crescent Sat 8/14, and we will be taking a zero-day in Lone Pine on Sat 8/20.
Hoping to hitch-hike into town Friday 8/19, and back up Sunday AM 8/21.
In the past WP has been hopping and I've never had a hard time hitching. Lately they have limited parking, and I assume, the bustle of vehicles to and from.
How bad have the road-delays been? Since parking has been limited, are there less people at WP?
