Is the water in LBSL OK?
I'm hiking up there on Sunday.

I'm guessing that this time if the year the water is better, and in the past I've had no problems with water in LBSL in late summer. Since I haven't been up there in a while, I thought I'd double check. It *is* standing water -- I guess the next running water after LBSL is Clyde Meadow (??).

BTW, I also plan on adding water at the waterfall(s) just before the Ebersbacher Ledges. That's a no-brainer.

I passed by LBSL three times this past year, and enjoyed the water straight up each time. ...I dip and drink everywhere on the MR, and practically everywhere on the Main Trail side, too. It has never caused any problems.
