McGee Mountain
April 16, 2017
Three Sierra peaks in three days!
From the snow line on McGee Creek Road, Brad, Izzy, and I skinned up McGee Mountain via one of the many east chutes. I was able to skin straight up the middle of the couloir in the soft snow until 500 feet shy of the north ridge, where I transitioned to booting up. Brad and I had a wonderful ski descent down the next couloir south of our ascent route.
