Tonygt, FYI: Today, Thursday 5/16, there is currently an unusual storm in the Sierra, with significant snow. There is a following lighter storm heading through Sunday. On your day, Monday, it will all be clearing out.

So you are going to find a new blanket of snow and beautiful scenery. But traveling in fresh snow like that will slow you considerably. Be careful, and have fun!
