My friend Daryl and I went up the Baxter Pass trail on Saturday. Established camp early on Sunday, and went for Peak 13070 (west of Baxter Pass). I turned back because of energy issues, but Daryl made the summit.
On Monday, we climbed Black Mtn., and Daryl went on to Diamond while I went back to camp.
Out Tuesday morning.
I was disappointed to summit only one of the three, but I had done them all before. Plenty of solitude in this area.
