Personally, I do not know anyone who has been infected with the virus. I live in Southern California. None of my family and friends have friends or extended family who have been infected. I sure hope a vaccine is created soon. I hope this virus dies off soon so we can all get back to our lives in the outdoors.

Me either, but according to the reports I've heard, odds are, many of the people we know has already had it. Most likely they thought either that it was just a cold, or didn't know they had it at all.

Unfortunately, I doubt the economy as we know it could survive waiting for either the vaccine to be developed properly or for the virus to die off.

I wonder if I had it. I would really like to know. I remember having a headache mid-march and not feeling well but it may have been because a family member passed away from a heart attack and I was just sad.I will always wonder if they really passed from a heart attack. I really hope the economy does not suffer for long. I will help others as much as I am able.

I hope to not offend anyone but I was hoping someone may be able to answer my question. Are there any campsites open anywhere along the Eastern Sierra that are open for walk-ins? We would self-sustained and obviously no campfires or need for running water. I'm hoping there is a responsible option to have a night away from our house without causing any trouble. Thank you!

Mike K:
Read my post in the General forum, in the "[url=
http://www.whitneyzone.com/wz/ubbthreads.php/topics/56890/Steve_C#Post56890]Inyo National Forest COVID19 Closure Order[/url]" topic.

All campgrounds are closed. If you can find some roadside to park, and then walk off into the woods, you could possibly camp. Or maybe sleep in your car. But Inyo N.F. and the BLM don't want you doing that. They have closed everything they possibly can, and are likely checking on closed sites to enforce the closure.

We broke quarantine rules here yeaterday--cause I was going nuts. We went to another town and shared a take-out dinner with relatives.
