I will make this short as my buddy already posted a nice long trip report from our trip. The snow is melting fast, two weeks ago it was too frozen for glissading down the chute. For our trip last week it was perfect, what an incredible ride, 1800' down in a few minutes. I imagine that in a week or two it will be a mushy river and too soft to glissade. It is still dropping below freezing at night at Trail Camp (the small stream froze over at night). Bring gators and waterproof boots. Wish I would have had a warm hat during the summit, cold and windy on top. Very warm for the rest of the hike. Most people had crampons and an ice axe (those who didn't wish they did). We saw a 13 year old and a 71 year old who both made it to the top. One bit of advice, establish a turn around time, if you are not at the summit by 2pm, turn around and try another day. good luck and have fun.
