Bob, I was at the Visitor's center on Monday and was talking to Heidi about the permit system. When I mentioned your name, she said, "I know Bob. He's great." So Bob, why are you great and can I be great also?

She's probably been reading Bob's opinion of the current permit system, so that makes him great.

When Bob and I hiked Mt. Langley when he was ~70 and I was ~37-38, Bob was consistently having to wait up for me. It was humbling.

Bob Pickering is great because he answers a lot of questions and is always humble….never rude or condescending.
