Steve C S Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 8,509 Likes: 103 Fresno, CA	Saw a post on FB from the head SMI guide (Kurt W) on Monday, where he led a couple up the Mountaineers Route to the Whitney Summit. He broke trail through what looks like less than a foot of new snow, but it made the climb to the Notch, and the final 400 "interesting". Reported up to his hips in some places, but I think that was only where they encountered a drift.
