Hi everyone,
I managed to get a last minute permit for 9th October, and then managed to book camp for 7th to 10th at Whitney Portal. I'd be doing summit alone but my spouse and/or a friend may come stay in basecamp. Figured to check if there are others that are doing Mt. Whitney on 9th that would perhaps like to team up for the summit?
I've done wilderness camping before and have been at about 11,978' (3651m) of elevation going through Glen Pass in Rae Lakes Loop. Generally pretty decent shape and might have a bit faster pace but I can adjust.
