There are a lot of nanner, nanners here.
Well, this past Thanksgiving I was up in Mammoth, driving over from Oakland via 50 to 89 to 395. It took me about 6 1/2 hours. On the way back after the storm hit Mammoth on Friday night and all day Saturday, I ended up taking 395 south to the 178 and 99 north to the 152 and 5. With all the stops, the drive took me nearly 10 hours.
I retire February 1 after 39 years at the University of California. My thoughts are to retire to Bishop and become a "nanner, nanner, nanner" type.
