I'm going to follow wazzu's suggestion of giving Joe a wake-up call at 4:30 am tomorrow (7:30 my time) and wishing them luck. Having backpacked on Whitney with Joe, I have first-hand experience with the degree to which Mr. Q hates the very early morning.
