A coworker has reported this from a neighbor.
This lady's car has been attacked, not to mention her washing machine and dishwasher. Hoses chewed all over the place, causing a bunch of repair bills.
Well, today, her car was hit AGAIN! She took it to the repair shop, and they have to replace the hoses a second time.
I have heard of marmots doing this up in Mineral King, and I have had my hiking poles chewed in the Sierra (Alta Peak), but have not heard of the problem otherwise.
They're blaming the problem on rats, but I'm not so sure....
