My bet in Fresno is that one of those creatures is causing the havoc. Recommend after the repair that they pressure wash the engine area and under carraige to get rid of urine and other trace contamination. Then maybe a spray with ammonia. Also recommend in area that vehicle is parked, set moth balls down as an added deterrent.
