This is great news. I have an overnight permit for July 4th. I’ll keep an eye out for the email next week.
When you reply to the email does it automatically send you the permit or do you still need to call and have them email the permit?
Guess we need to BYO wag bags this season as well
Great news for all of us with upcoming trips for sure, MuffenMan. Hope you enjoy your time out there. I replied to the email referenced above but still have not received my actual permit email. When I spoke to the representative on the phone, she acknowledged receipt of my response and said that she would be replying to everyone that responds with their printable permit as soon as possible; you can imagine how many are coming in now that they have opened back up. I'll report back when I actually receive the permit email, I still have not as of now (12:30 PM Central Time).
As for wag bags, she mentioned that they would be available at the trail head.
