Well, give it a couple hundred thousand years and the San Andreas Fault will make SF "north" of Oakland and Oakland will become the West Bay and Sacramento the East bay and Los Angeles will be "south" of Oakland and eventually take over the Frisco spot and then the Baseball Commisioner in the year 200,000 will have to deal with the realignment.
