I'm, like, you know, working on a new siggy and it makes sense to you?

Vatican 2 was the doom of Latin scholars, alas. Everything always sounds better in Latin including, pardon me, religion.
Here's all I got from a Latin to English translator. Maybe went through Klingon first:
Arrival veris up to, under when white nothing. Very dixit
Looks good though!

None of the views expressed here in any way represent those of the unidentified agency that I work for or, often, reality. It's just me, fired up by coffee and powerful prose.

Here are some guesses via email from some friends...
true adventure under and over white nothing- same as 1972? DG True adventures under an all white nothing? PS "true adventure below the belt (ubi, obi, whatever) does not exist" ? (as stated by Mr. Ipsi Dixit a long, long long time ago). MT The search for truth is under a white cloud? KH
MT worries me a bit.
Any more tries?

Ok, I'll take a shot:
"As they said in 1972, a true adventure is nothing without some luck."
(1972 was the year of the Poseidon Adventure.)
In other words, it wasn't an adventure for those who died.
Or... It's not much of an adventure if there is no danger.
Ok wagga, when do you give your translation?

True adventurers don't wear white underwear. - I said, 1972
Actual quote by me at the base of Shaky Leg, when all the higher-rated climbers in the expedition couldn't get started.
So I did a Mikey.
No Friends, no harness, no bongs, no pro, 30' to the first jammed rock (at that time), no worries.
At the crux, I sheared off a wart from a finger, got complaints from below that I was dripping blood on them. Cold conditions can do that, I hadn't noticed. Several years later I had a hand X-ray and was told that I had broken a finger - healed naturally with no medical intervention.

Long ago, when sailing ships ruled the sea, this captain and his crew were always in danger of being boarded by pirates from a pirate ship.
One day while they were sailing, they saw that a pirate ship had sent a boarding party to try and board their ship. The crew became worried, but the Captain was calm.
He bellowed to his First Mate, "Bring me my red shirt!"
The First Mate quickly got the Captain's red shirt, which the captain put on. Then he led his crew into battle against the mean pirates. Although there were some casualties among the crew, the pirates were defeated.
Later that day, the lookout screamed that there were two pirate vessels sending two boarding parties towards their ship. The crew was nervous, but the Captain, calm as ever, bellowed, "Bring me my red shirt!" And once again the battle was on!
The Captain and his crew fought off the boarding parties, though this time more casualties occurred.
Weary from the battles, the men sat around on deck that night recounting the day's events when an ensign looked at the Captain and asked, "Sir, why did you call for your red shirt before the battle?"
The Captain, giving the ensign a look that only a captain can give, explained, "If I am wounded in battle, the red shirt does not show the blood, so you men will continue to fight unafraid." The men sat in silence. They were amazed at the courage of such a man.
As dawn came the next morning, the lookout screamed that there were pirate ships, 10 of them, all with boarding parties on their way. The men became silent and looked to the Captain, their leader, for his usual command.
The Captain, calm as ever, bellowed, 'Bring me my brown pants!!!'

True adventurers don't wear white underwear. - I said, 1972 with some a lot of time on my hands, i found that mr google translate offers a different, if not better, translation of your english into latin. Verum audaces non gerunt indusia alba. and having studied latin recently, well this millenium anyway, i think it's closer to what you intended. or not. ymmv.

My original was kinda pidgin latin, just for fun.
So, I shall change it.
I develop multi-lingual software, and have only English, so I've found that Google Translate is very useful to get the initial word strings into the database. Latin can be much more succinct or very much more verbose than English, so it helps with designing the field lengths.
Pidgin English is a fascinating language, though.

No, I'm generally soft-voiced, unless a kayak is falling on one of my flock.

Wagga: I need some help here. I do remember a latin saying moulded in the filigree on a clock in our home of decades back in South India, "Amor Amos Vincent" meaning "Love conquers all". How do I change this to "Love of Nature conquers all" ? I did learn Sanskrit and several other languages including some "clingon" but not Latin So appreciate your input! Krishna

Okay found it!
It should be "amor omnis vincite"! Should not depend on childhood memories, especially for Latin spelling! So checking googlamma (Numen vocavit Google), it should be "amor vincit omnia naturae"!
Wagga, gratias non respondendo!

I think the Romans would have rearranged the words. Verbs were always last. Something like "naturae amor omnia vincit".
But I probably have it wrong, too.
