Rod, hiking is one of the most theraputic activities out there - both physically and mentally. As you increase your efforts, don't get discouraged at occasional setbacks - they happen to all of us. Get outside on trails when you can. Breath the air, feel the wind in your face, enjoy the scenery. Love the burn, even - it means you're getting stronger.
