Mt Whitney Zone Forums General Discussion White Mountain Peak conditions and fall color around Bishop

I drove down from Redding to Lone Pine yesterday. Aspen were all yellow up north of Susanville. The aspen groves at Conway Summit were just starting to get yellow around their edges.

Frost on the grass along Cottonwood Creek below Horseshoe Meadow this morning.
