quillansculpture...When I submitted the application in Feb my 1st choice request was an overnight anytime that week because of the full moon, my 6th choice was any overnight in Sept except Labor Day weekend, my 7th choice was any single day the week of Sep 21 - 27 due to the full moon.
It must have been the exception to Labor Day weekend that eliminated my chance for an overnight in the lottery
My trip in Sept '06 happened during a full moon. We hiked from Outpost Camp starting at 3am by moonlight, although no frozen waterfall. It was still amazing.
