I want to sign up for a plan on my Inreach but the site is not working very well. What's up?

They were hit with a randsomware attack and some of their systems are down.

Not sure what all is affected. Inreach.garmin.com seems to be up, but I see some errors in spots. Billing and plan info. So, that could make it hard to change or sign up for new plans.

Same problem here. Phones numbers for help don't work either.

Here's the status page, although it hasn't been updated sine Thursday.

Basically, Inreach plan changes and activations are not working, plus their call centers are unavailable.


SOS & messaging via Inreach are working.

Sheesh! An IT worker's worst nightmare.

Unless they have been making full site backups and storing them offsite, they're screwed into paying the ransom. I sure hope they can recover.

Garmin servers just went back up. One day after I bought a Spot X as an alternative. frown
