After watching, though, it was obviously not Mt Whitney. I clicked over to YouTube and read comments, and found this:
As an FYI, in this video they are hiking up James Peak via St. Mary's Glacier. James Peak is in Colorado at 13,234 ft. Hopefully they will show video footage when they actually get on Mt. Whitney.
