I think our chances are better than slim! I am hoping. But if not, I'll do a walk in. Last year, I did both -- walk in overnight permit for a Friday in mid-July, plus 4 overnight permits through the lottery for Labor Day Weekend. Like the locals say, if you want to climb Whitney, you can, even in peak, yeah, peak season.
