She records winds of 65 knots (75 mph) before the instrument breaks. The large, steep seas knock her boat sideways into the water four times, once at a 180-degree angle. (Although she doesn't see the wave, she can tell how far the boat has tipped by the dingy water line the marine toilet leaves on the wall.)"
